Center for Countering Disinformation publish Russian fakes from October 6

According to the CCD at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on October 6, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Disinformation: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated: "the tragedy of Ukraine, which has turned into a tool of the West to realize its geopolitical ambitions, has become the most acute problem for the global system of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation. In today's conditions, nuclear risks are very significant, they cannot be underestimated. However you should not artificially "inflate" it.

Manipulation: Russian Foreign Ministry representative K. Vorontsov said that Moscow is calling on the UN to adopt the results of referendums on the inclusion of [the occupied territories of Ukraine] into the Russian Federation: "we call on the UN member states to accept the new inevitable reality dictated by life, which is based on the free expression of people's will."

Disinformation: Kherson collaborator K. Stremousov stated that the Russian troops in the Kryvyi Rih direction did not "surrender" Davidiv Brid, Velika Oleksandrivka and Dudchany, but "simply regrouped" to preserve the occupying forces.
