Center for Combating Disinformation publishes Russian fakes from September 15

According to the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on September 15, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Manipulation: The spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, D. Peskov, during his speech at the briefing, stated that only the leadership of Ukraine can provide security guarantees to its country: "only the leadership of Ukraine, which understands the hopelessness of the situation for it, can provide security guarantees to Ukraine."

Manipulation: The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna stated: "Western countries have drawn up an anti-Russian IAEA resolution on the Ukrainian issue, which does not contain a single word about the systematic shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. The reason is simple: the shelling is carried out by Ukraine, which the Western countries support and fence off in every possible way". 

Misinformation: The spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, M. Zakharova, stated: "reports of filtering measures... in the territories from which the [Russian Armed Forces] were withdrawn as part of the reorganization are causing concern. Thousands of people are passing through them. It is scary to imagine what the Armed Forces are doing with them. First of all, it is about the murders of these people".
