Car carrying city's 'commandant' is blown up near administration building in Russian-occupied Berdyansk: 'Gauleiter' dies in hospital
On September 6, explosions occurred in temporarily Russian-occupied Berdyansk. The car carrying Moscow's placeman, the city's so-called commandant or Gauleiter, caught fire, and he later died in the hospital

"In Berdyansk chats, locals report an explosion. Approximately in the central part of the city, next to the administrative buildings. Explosions and shootings in the city center continue. Ambulances and representatives of the Russian occupation police went to the center," the Berdyansk City Council wrote.
"According to the information of the Russian occupiers: today, August 6, in the very center of Berdyansk, near the building of the Military-Civil Administration, the car of the 'commandant' of the city, Artyom Bardin, was blown up. As a result of the explosion, the city commandant was hospitalized in a serious condition. Doctors are providing him with the necessary medical assistance. The explosion also damaged three civilian cars, in which only thanks to a lucky accident there was no one," Berdyansk Now wrote.
Local Telegram channels posted a video of smoke and shooting.
Earlier, local Telegram channels reported that the car had burned down.

Russian propaganda reported that the car of the so-called commandant of the city was blown up in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk.
According to unconfirmed information, a minibus with ammunition exploded near the building of the Executive Committee in Berdyansk.
"The car with the letter "Z" was in the area of the Almaz store on University Street. Currently, the place is surrounded by the Russian military. Residents of the temporarily Russia-occupied Berdyansk write that at least one Russian died on the spot," the Berdyansk News Online Telegram channel wrote.
On the evening of September 6, on the air of Espreso TV, the deputy of the Zaporizhzhia District Council, Dmytro Kyrylchuk, said that the commandant of Berdyansk had died.
"Currently, this collaborator-commandant has died in the hospital of the city of Berdyansk. That is why the commandant of Berdyansk was dismissed today. We are one step closer to the liberation of the city," Kyrylchuk said.

"The commandant of Berdyansk, who was assassinated, died of his injuries."
