"Global Affairs Canada is aware of the death of a Canadian in Ukraine. Consular officials are in contact with the family and are providing consular assistance," said a spokesman for the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Details will not be released for privacy reasons, he said.
Statements by Canada's Department of State and Foreign Affairs did not provide details about the circumstances surrounding his death and the US citizens' deaths.
