Defense Minister Anita Anand said this at the 12th Ramstein meeting, the Canadian government's press service reports.

Thus, Canada will donate 43 AIM-9 missiles from the CAF stockpile to Ukraine. The Canadian Defense Ministry hopes that this donation will help Ukraine defend its skies from ongoing Russian attacks.

According to the official, the supply of small arms and ammunition announced in April is going according to plan. Machine guns, assault rifles, and cleaning kits have already been delivered to Ukraine, and 1 million rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition and 4,800 assault rifles are scheduled to be delivered in the coming weeks, the press service said.

By the summer, all 21,000 small arms and 2.4 million rounds of ammunition are expected to be in Ukraine, the ministry summarized.
