By spreading fakes about bioweapons, Russia prepares ground for provocations with it - Ukraine calls on UN to put pressure on Russian forces to prevent insidious plans

Khrystyna Hayovyshyn said this at a meeting of the Security Council convened by Russia to discuss the "military-biological activities of the United States in Ukraine", reports Ukrinform.

She noted that Ukraine has never, anywhere, produced biological or chemical weapons together with anyone. Ukraine is ready to receive international specialists to ensure the transparent operation of public health laboratories after the Russian Federation ends the war and withdraws its troops from Ukrainian territory.

Also, the deputy ambassador at the UN noted that, by spreading fakes, Russia is laying the groundwork for further provocations with the use of biological substances, and these threats should be taken seriously.

"Ukraine appeals to the international community to show maximum vigilance and put pressure on Russia in order to prevent the implementation of its insidious plans with the use of biological weapons," Khrystyna Hayovyshyn stressed.
