The message was posted on Telegram.
He emphasized that the Russian military aggression began 9 years ago in Crimea.
"Nine years ago, Russian aggression began in Crimea. By returning Crimea, we will restore peace. This is our land. Our people. Our history. We will return the Ukrainian flag to every corner of Ukraine," the message said.
The head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak also stated that Ukraine will definitely return the peninsula.
"Today we mark the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol, and I want to say that we will definitely return it and come back," he writes.
