Bulgaria recognizes Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians
On Wednesday, February 1, the Bulgarian Parliament recognized the Holodomor or the man-made famine of 1932-1933 as genocide of Ukrainians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Twitter.
“I am grateful to the Bulgarian Parliament for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people. This step honors the memory of millions of Holodomor victims and restores historical justice. Ukraine will always remember Bulgaria's gesture of solidarity,” the president tweeted.
