He announced this on Facebook.
"The most important thing for us today is to win. This struggle requires action. From each of us. My journey as a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun," he said in a statement.
Borysenko emphasized that the dead and wounded must be replaced by new people, no matter whether they are deputies, drivers or mechanics.
It has not yet been announced who will head the city.
