Border guards raise Ukrainian flag in Kharkiv region, bordering Russia
Ukrainian border guards have raised the national flag at the Budarky checkpoint on the border with Russia in the Kharkiv region
Ukraine's State Border Guard Service reported this on Telegram.
Ukrainian border guards who are defending Ukraine in the Steel Frontier Offensive Guard Brigade have managed to enter the territory of the Budarky checkpoint on the border with Russia in the Kharkiv region.
"Despite constant shelling, they entered the territory of the Budarky checkpoint in the Kharkiv region and raised a blue and yellow flag on the highest tower in the neighborhood," the statement says.
The Budarky checkpoint is located on the state border and has not been operating since the full-scale invasion of Russia.
On November 27, law enforcement officers together with volunteers completed the mandatory evacuation of children from the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region.
