Black smoke rises at Russian occupiers' military base in Melitopol – mayor Fedorov

The smoke is rising at the western exit from Melitopol - in the area of the Avtokolorlyt plant seized by the occupiers.

Fedorov noted that the occupiers immediately reported "accurate air defence", but the smoke was rising from the ground to the sky.

"Probably, the Russian air defence is ground-based," the mayor added.

• Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol, said that on 22 May, Ukrainian reconnaissance men blew up occupiers' bases in Polohy and Vasylivka.
