According to information released by journalists, Biden limited himself to a short "no" without giving reasons.
Ostap Yarysh, journalist of the Voice of America, Ukrainian service, also wrote about this on Twitter.
"When asked by our journalist Yulia Yarmolenko whether the United States will provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, Joe Biden answered "no," the message reads.
Yarysh later reported that the question was asked when Joe Biden was leaving the helicopter and briefly approached the press, and he did not elaborate on his answer.
"Previously, the White House said that they do not rule out any supply of weapons to Ukraine, including F-16 fighter jets. We will try to get more detailed explanations," he wrote.
