Biden has announced new US sanctions against Russia: a ban on imports and new investments

This was stated by the President of the United States in his speech.

Biden announced a ban on new investment in any sector of the Russian economy. In addition, the United States bans the import of alcohol, diamonds, and seafood from the Russian Federation.

Additional sanctions will also be imposed on Russia's elite and their families, including the heads of Russia's sanctioned banks and members of the State Duma.

Besides, the US President announced an immediate approval of urgent assistance of $13 billion to Ukraine. The aid package has already been approved by the Senate of the United States.
