Belarusian "rail partisans" were given more than 20 years in prison for trying to stop Russian trains
Three Belarusians have been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison each. They sabotaged a railway in Belarus carrying trains of Russian military equipment for the war in Ukraine

This verdict was pronounced by the Gomel Regional Court on December 27.
Thus, Denis Dikun received 23 years in a reinforced regime colony, Dmitry Ravich - 22 years in prison, and Oleg Molchanov - 21 years. Also, each was fined 4800 Belarusian rubles, and their property seized during the searches was confiscated.
The investigation stated Dikun, Ravich and Molchanov, three residents of Sviatohirsk, Gomel region, on February 28 set fire to a relay cabinet on the railway stretch Zherd-Ostankovichi (Gomel region). As a result, traffic lights and switches stopped working on the section, which could have led to the disruption of the schedule of trains with weapons and military equipment of the Russian forces for the war in Ukraine.
All three were detained in Svitlogirsk on March 4 and charged with several articles ("Participation in an extremist group", "Act of terrorism committed as part of an organized group that caused grave consequences, threatening the death of people and causing bodily harm to them", "Deliberate obstruction of means of communication, which caused grave consequences and created a threat of disaster, accident and death" and "Treason").
