Belarus has two versions of missile crash in Brest region. One of them is "Ukrainian Armed Forces’ deliberate provocation"
Belarusian Ministry of Defense has announced two versions for the missile’s downing in Brest region on December 29. Among them is "deliberate provocation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces"
This was stated by the head of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces Kirill Kazantsev.
He noted that the Belarusian side still has questions about the incident with the fall of the missile on the territory of the republic. The version of "deliberate provocation by Kyiv" is not excluded.
"There are still questions about this incident. We are considering two versions: an unintentional launch of an anti-aircraft-guided missile by poor training in calculations or a malfunction of the weapon. Also, it may be a "deliberate provocation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," he said in a video comment posted on the Belarusian Defense Ministry’s Telegram channel.
