Belarusian troops are boosting the engineering and fortification equipment levels of their defenses in areas bordering Ukraine and EU countries.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared the update on Facebook.

The Volhynia Polissya directions (northwest Ukraine - Ed.) have not seen any significant changes.

"Belarus is building up the engineering and fortification equipment of its defense positions in the areas bordering Ukraine and the European Union," the statement reads.
