Belarus announces start of Air Force and Air Defense exercises with firing

This is reported on the official channel of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense.

It states that from August 9 to 25, 2022, under the leadership of the Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Belarus, an operational-tactical training will be held with the Air Force and Air Defense Forces with live fire.

The training will be held on the territory of Belarus and the 185th combat training center of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Personnel and weapons, military and special equipment of air defense troops and radio engineering troops, as well as combat calculations of the educational institution "Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus" are planned to be involved in the exercises.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, the purpose of the training is to "increase the coordination of units and military units during the performance of assigned tasks."
