Baykar Makina presents new jet drone that will be manufactured in Ukraine

Bayraktar Kızılelma (‘Red Apple’) unmanned military aircraft developed by Baykar Makina was presented for the first time in the city of Samsun in northern Turkey on August 30.

As technical director Selcuk Bayraktar told the Turkish media, the new UAV is equipped with a jet engine and the most modern sensors for control. It is capable of "aggressive maneuvering" and has artificial intelligence.

The combat vehicle was presented as part of the aviation and space festival TEKNOFEST KARADENİZ on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.

The drone is planned to be manufactured at the factory that Baykar Makina is going to build in Ukraine. Kizilelma's first flight is scheduled for 2023.
