Battle for Bakhmut can change course of this war - serviceman Kyrylo Sazonov

He expressed his opinion on Espreso TV. 

“Now our unit is under Bakhmut. It feels like everyone has gathered here. I met many people I knew before Russia's full-scale invasion. A key battle of this war is brewing under Bakhmut,” Sazonov said. 

A military officer of Ukraine's Armed Forces emphasized that the battle for Bakhmut could become a key factor in this war.

“Bakhmut is one of the hottest spots on the front. The same can be said about Soledar. These cities are very close to each other. It is near Bakhmut that Russia has gathered a very large number of troops. Therefore, the battle for Bakhmut can become a key one in this war and change the entire course of military operations,” he added.

• In the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions, the offensive continues and the enemy actively uses aviation to support ground groups, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.
