In the Lviv region, alarms twice announced an air raid warning during the day. They warned about the threat of air and missile strikes from aircraft from Belarus and strategic aircraft of the Russian Federation

This was announced by the head of the Lviv Military Administration Maxym Kozytsky, reports Espreso.West.

"The alarm announced an air alert twice (from 9 am on April 16 to 9 am on April 17). There was a threat of an air and missile strike from aircraft from Belarus, in the second case - an air and missile strike from Russian strategic aviation aircraft. Thanks to our military for defense!", said Kozytsky.

The head of the Regional Military Administration also added that the regional police processed 1249 appeals from citizens on suspicious persons and objects per day.
