It was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, during the telethon broadcast.
On February 2, around 5 a.m, Kyrylenko stated that the information about the third dead person was false: the condition was dire, but the victim was resuscitated and sent to Dnipro.
He noted that 21 people sought medical help, 8 of them were hospitalized. Currently, we know of two people who are still under the rubble. The search operation is happening now.
"The central part of the city was hit. One entryway to the residential building was completely destroyed, the remaining ones stood. Well, in a sense. Because the windows were completely destroyed and broken, the roof and entryways were damaged. Eight houses next to this one were also damaged. Windows and doors were completely broken, and roofs were destroyed," Kyrylenko said.
Earlier, Kyrylenko wrote that the Russians launched an attack on Kramatorsk around 10 p.m. on February 1. Preliminarily, Russians used Iskander. As of 2 a.m., it was reported about at least three dead and eight injured.
The General Prosecutor's Office specified that eight people were injured in Kramatorsk with varying degrees of severity. Two people died under the rubble. Emergency services continue to work on site.
And the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted that as of 1 a.m. on February 2, the bodies of 3 dead persons were unblocked and 2 persons were rescued from the rubble. 21 people were injured (8 of them were hospitalized).
The cars were burning near the house; the fire was extinguished.
145 people and 17 units of equipment were involved in rescue operations, including 60 people and 11 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (including mobile operational group of State Emergency Service), 30 people of the Armed Forces personnel, 45 people from the National Police (including 4 psychologists), 10 people and 4 units equipment units provided by the municipal services.
The President of Ukraine reacted to the shelling of a residential building in Kramatorsk:
"A residential building, a missile strike. Civilians died and some are still under the rubble. We’re not just repeating this story, this is how we live every day in our country. A country bordering absolute evil as a neighbor. A country that must overcome this evil in order to prevent the repetition of such tragedies ... Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims. We will find them and make them pay. They do not deserve a pardon."
