At least 10 Russian torture chambers operate in occupied Enerhodar

In the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, invading Russian troops continue to terrorize the local population and search for pro-Ukrainian residents

This is reported by the Information Resistance Group. 

"There are currently about 10 operating torture chambers in Enerhodar, some of which are located on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and TPP industrial zone. Civilians are also kept in captivity in the premises of the former SBU and police departments," said Dmytro Orlov, mayor of Enerhodar.

Both local residents and the staff of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant who remained at the plant continue to suffer from abuse and torture.

According to him, about a hundred residents of Enerhodar are currently being held in the torture chambers. Over the entire period of occupation of the city, about 1,500 Ukrainians have been held in these torture chambers.

In total, about 10,000 Ukrainian citizens remain in Enerhodar.
