Assets worth UAH 2.1 billion are seized from Ukrainian companies owned by Gazprom, Rosneft, Rosatom
Law enforcement officers have seized the corporate rights and real estate of 11 enterprises whose beneficiaries are Russian corporations - the Rosneft oil and gas company, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, and the gas production and distribution monopoly Gazprom
The Security Service of Ukraine informs about this.
Investigators established that part of the profits of Gazprom, Rosneft and Rosatom financed the Russian war in Ukraine, as well as sabotage and intelligence groups.
"The estimated total value of the corporate rights seized by the court exceeds UAH 2.1 billion. Also, 46 objects of immovable property owned by them have been seized," it is noted.
By seizing the assets, attempts by the beneficial owners to re-register them in order to retain control and money are blocked.
"Ukraine's SBU continues to investigate all the circumstances of the activities of these enterprises within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 of Article 113 (sabotage) and Part 1 of Article 437 (planning, preparation, launching and waging of an aggressive war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine." - the press service added.
