Almost 500,000 Ukrainian children study in EU schools
Almost all Ukrainian children seeking refuge abroad are integrated into the national school systems of the European Union countries.

The representative of the European Commission on migration shared the figures.
"After Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, the EU reacted quickly and demonstrated solidarity in action by helping people in need. Already 492,647 Ukrainian children have been integrated into the national school systems of the EU countries," the message reads.
For the first time in its history, the European Union has activated the Temporary Protection Directive, which sets out legal rules to help manage mass arrivals of people. 3.9 million people registered for temporary protection in EU countries.
