Almost 18,000 Ukrainian refugees apply for British visa under family scheme - Ministry of Internal Affairs
The UK Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed that 17,700 applications for a Ukrainian family visa have been received for processing.

The publication reports that under the family scheme, 17,700 applications have been accepted, and 8,900 applications have been completed and officially submitted. According to the Ministry of the Interior, 640 applications have been confirmed and 300 visas have been issued so far.
"Staff have been surged across Europe and within the UK to ensure applications can be processed as quickly as possible, while maintaining essential security checks," it said.
The Home Office says "around 50" visas were issued under the family scheme over the past weekend.
