The statement was made public in Strasbourg during the European Parliament's plenary session on hearings on the forced deportation of Ukrainian children by Russians.
The arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova was issued because they organized the forced deportation of Ukrainian children.
Armenia has said that despite ratifying the Rome Statute, which governs the International Criminal Court, the government has “no intention or desire” to arrest Putin.
