All factions of European Parliament call to designate Wagner Group as terrorist organization

Large number of MEPs of different political groups urge to classify Russia’s Wagner  private military company (PMC) as terrorist organization

This was reported by Politico, with reference to the letter of the European Parliament members.

MEPs call on the EU to include Wagner PMC in the list of terrorist organizations. The group, headed by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has participated in various military conflicts: from Ukraine to Syria, Sudan, Mozambique and the Central African Republic.

On November 11, MEPs representing the entire range of parliamentary groups (from the far-right to the left, as well as Renew, the European People's Party, the Social Democrats and the Greens) sent a letter to the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, whose country presides over the Council of the EU.

The parliamentarians state that the Wagner Group should be recognized as a terrorist organization citing the ongoing the violations of international law that the members of the group continue to commit in Ukraine, as well as their "previous exploits" in other conflicts.
