Alina Pash becomes host of Music Moves Europe Awards
The Ukrainian singer will co-host Music Moves Europe Awards, the ceremony will take place on January 19 in Groningen, the Netherlands
Singer announced this on her Instagram.
Ukrainian singer Alina Pash, who became the subject of scandal at last year's Eurovision Song Contest, will host the European music award. Her partner on stage will be Dutch host Fernando Halman.
“Our task is not to stop and to continue the fight. We must go forward and do everything in order to make Ukraine sound even louder. This year I had the honor to host the Music Moves Europe Awards in the company of Fernando Halman," the singer shared the news.
Music Moves Europe Awards will take place on January 19, 2023, during ESNS festival in Groningen, the Netherlands.
Music Moves Europe Awards is an EU-funded award celebrating new representatives of pop and contemporary music. MME Awards are presented to musicians who represent the European sound of tomorrow.
Last year, Alina Pash became the winner of this award.
This year's nominees include Ukrainian singer and songwriter Jerry Heil. In addition to her, 14 other young European artists are applying for the award: Amelie Siba (Czech Republic), CMAT (Ireland), Eee Gee (Denmark), Goldkimono (Netherlands), Hause Plants (Portugal), July Jones (Slovenia), Kids Return ( France), Koikoi (Serbia), Monikaze (Lithuania), Oska (Austria), Queralt Lahoz (Spain), Sans Soucis (Italy), schmyt (Germany), The Haunted Youth (Belgium).
