General Staff's report: Ukraine succeeded near Robotyne in the Melitopol direction

The operational situation remains without significant changes near the border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, carries out active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to critical frontline areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 5 Russian attacks near Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's troops hold steadfastly and successfully repulsed all hostile attacks near Nadiia, Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian army defeated all Russian attacks near 4 settlements in Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian army, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russia keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka, actively using aviation, but Ukraine's troops are holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the Russian forces. Russia's offensives near 4 localities in Donetsk region were unsuccessful, where the Defense Forces repelled over 10 hostile attacks.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian troops launched unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Marinka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military repelled about 15 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, Ukrainian defenders repulsed all Russian attacks near Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region and southeast of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to conduct offensives in the Melitopol direction, having partially succeeded south of Robotyne, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces are engaged in counter-battery combat, inflicting fire damage on Russia's rear.

Russia attacked Ukraine with 6 drones at night: air defense forces shot down all Russian targets

Russia launched 4 missile strikes and 68 air strikes, fired 49 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, last night the Russian invaders launched another air strike on Ukraine, using 6 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense destroyed all attack drones.

Air strikes hit 2 settlements in Kharkiv region; 1 in Luhansk region; 9 in Donetsk region; 4 in Zaporizhzhia region; and 8 localities in Kherson region.

About 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian forces carried out remote mining in two areas

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 7 strikes on the areas of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and 3 strikes on their anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile troops hit 8 artillery units, 4 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, an electronic warfare station, a Russian pontoon-bridge crossing, and remotely mined the terrain in two areas.

  • On the night of October 24, Russia launched a combined air attack: Shahed drones were moving to the west of Ukraine, while air defense was operating in the Cherkasy region.
