Air defense effectiveness in Ukrainian rear reaches 80% - ex-serviceman of AFU Bishchuk
Ukraine's air defense system in rear cities is 70% to 80% effective. The figure is higher than that of the Israeli Iron Dome system
Journalist and ex-serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Viktor Bishchuk shared the information on Espreso TV.
"If we analyze the figures presented by the Air Force Command every day, we see that the effectiveness of Ukraine's air defense in the rear, peaceful areas reaches 70% to 80%. This is more than the famous Iron Dome in Israel. This is despite the fact that the missiles used to fire at Israel and those used by Russia to kill Ukrainian civilians are of completely different technological levels. And what Ukraine's air defense system demonstrates is simply on the verge of fantasy," Bishchuk said.
The ex-serviceman also noted that Ukrainians, nevertheless, should stay aware during periods when there are no Russian missile attacks.
