Zelenskyy, Macron, Starmer sign declaration on multinational force deployment in Ukraine
On January 6, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the militaries of Ukraine, France, and Great Britain have already worked out in detail the possible parameters for the future deployment of multinational forces
He announced this on Telegram.
This includes, in particular, the numbers, composition of units, necessary components of the Armed Forces, and types of weaponry that could be deployed. According to him, the parties have a clear understanding of which countries in the Coalition of the Willing are ready to participate in the peace settlement and in what format.
Substantive consultations with the United States also took place regarding mechanisms for monitoring compliance with peace. The American side confirmed its readiness to work in this direction. Special attention was given to deterrence issues and tools that should prevent new Russian aggression.
Meanwhile, according to Suspilne, Ukraine, France, and Great Britain have already signed a declaration of intent regarding the future deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine, reports a Suspilne correspondent.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Paris on January 6, where he met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
