President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has explained why he doesn't push for Western troops to support Ukraine in its war with Russia. He believes this issue shouldn't rely solely on the public will of Ukraine

In an interview with Nordic media, Zelenskyy was asked if the presence of North Korean troops in Ukraine might influence European countries to send their own forces. He replied, “I’m not sure. Everyone is skeptical and cautious about this. We’ve never pushed for or discussed this idea in detail. It’s very risky. If there’s no agreement from leaders or societies, raising this topic can jeopardize other support.”

Zelenskyy emphasized that this matter shouldn’t be just about Ukrainian public will, as it could jeopardize the support already being received. “We cannot risk losing the support we have,” he added.
