US inspectors general arrive in Kyiv to inspect aid to Ukraine
On Monday, January 29, inspectors general from the US Department of Defense, State Department, and US Agency for International Development arrived in the Ukrainian capital to inspect US aid to Ukraine
The US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, announced this on Twitter (X).
"Pleased to welcome back to Kyiv three Inspectors General from the Departments of Defense, State, and USAID," she wrote.
Ambassador Brink noted that their meetings with implementers, partners, and the Ukrainian government will help strengthen oversight and accountability in US assistance to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, said earlier, the US Senate continues to discuss the adoption of an aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan and strengthening security on the southern border of the United States.
