State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said this, reports European Pravda.
She emphasized that the U.S. is "the biggest supporter and defender of Ukraine."
“And we want them to have air defense capabilities. We want them to be able to counter incoming missiles,” the spokesperson added.
She also said that discussions are underway about European partners transferring air defense systems to Ukraine.
“Several different parties are involved in this process, and the State Department is not directly involved. It concerns ammunition, procurement, and everything else… Our goal is to end this war, and we continue to focus on that,” Bruce said.
- On June 10, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth announced that the U.S. will reduce its military aid budget for Ukraine, saying President Donald Trump's administration “takes a very different view of that conflict.”
