Ukraine's Defense Minister Umerov meets with Germany's Pistorius to boost military aid
Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has arrived in Germany, where he met with his counterpart Boris Pistorius to discuss arms supplies to Ukraine

Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported the information.
The defense ministers discussed key issues of strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries. In particular, the meeting focused on the supply of modern missile systems and ammunition to Ukraine, as well as the further development of air defense.
Umerov thanked the German partners for the Patriot systems and noted that Germany has ordered 17 more IRIS-T air defense systems for Ukraine, four of which will be received by the end of this year and the rest in 2025.
"This assistance is critical to protecting our skies in light of recent aerial terrorist attacks by Russia," the statement says.
