Search for air defense systems for Ukraine by partners is technically possible - politician

Oleh Rybachuk, politician and former Vice Prime Minister for European Integration, believes that the issue of providing air defense to Ukraine is technically resolvable, as the Alliance countries have systems that are idle

He spoke about this on Espreso TV.

"I remember when the NATO summit was held in Vilnius, and the number of Patriots that were there would have completely solved the issue of Ukraine. The Alliance countries simply moved their systems, there were about a dozen of them for the small sky over Vilnius. Therefore, it is technically possible to find air defense systems. And these systems are idle, they are not being used. It is clear that Putin will not dare to violate NATO's borders in any way, although there are many threats, missiles are flying into Poland. By the way, the Poles have a Patriot, but they don't use it, so if they gave it to us, we would shoot down these missiles so that they wouldn't reach Poland. So, in fact, the issue is technically resolvable," the politician said.

Oleh Rybachuk believes that the issue is not one of technical capabilities, but rather the formation of two clubs in Europe: the first is the club of the brave or determined, and the second is the club of the deeply concerned and equally deeply frightened.
