Polish Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewski stated this in an interview with TVP World.
When asked whether Ukraine had agreed to accept Poland's proposal, Zalewski noted that they are currently awaiting a response from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
"I believe... the Ukrainians have decided to accept this proposal. Of course, there are some technical aspects that, as always, will be clarified," he added.
Zalewski emphasized that technical details of the MiG transfer are currently being coordinated, including logistics and maintenance.
- The Polish General Staff stated on December 10 that negotiations are ongoing with the Ukrainian side regarding the transfer of MiG-29 aircraft, as well as Warsaw's acquisition of drone and missile technologies.
- Polish President Karol Nawrocki said that he had not been informed about the Defense Ministry's intentions to transfer MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.
