The New York Post reported this, citing sources.

According to an American official, during his third trip to the Ukrainian capital Kellogg was surrounded by “ordinary Ukrainian citizens and soldiers” who support his efforts to help Trump end the war.

“Kellogg is so beloved locally that the U.S. embassy had to call in additional security to keep him safe from his hoards of fans during the trip,” the outlet wrote.

A U.S. source described Trump’s special envoy as “one of the few in Washington not looking for another job.”

“Combined with his unwavering loyalty to the president, this gives him the ability to speak hard truths when others are afraid to,” the source added.

The NYP noted that Keith Kellogg played a key role in getting Ukraine to accept Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire and the possibility of a leaders’ meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin.
