NATO logistics hub in Poland operating in emergency mode — military expert
Military expert Dmytro Sniehyriov says that while U.S. rhetoric is shifting, the nature of military-technical support for Ukraine remains unchanged
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The United States is making it clear to Europe that the main burden of military and technical assistance to our country should be taken up by European partners. This was the reason behind the U.S. response regarding non-participation in the Ramstein meeting. Additionally, there were plans by the Trump administration to impose tariffs on several European countries. For now, this issue has been put on hold. Furthermore, European countries have expressed a desire to negotiate with the U.S.," Sniehyriov noted.
According to the military expert, while the rhetoric of the U.S. is changing, the nature of military-technical support remains the same.
"I urge Ukrainians once again: don’t pay attention to statements—focus on actions. According to the Russians, the Polish city of Rzeszów, which is the main NATO logistics hub for supplying military-technical support to our state, is currently operating in emergency mode. The number of U.S. planes arriving with cargo for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the highest in the last five months—this is the Russian side’s assessment," explained Sniehyriov.
The co-chair of the Prava Sprava group added that there is no talk of halting U.S. military-technical assistance to Ukraine.
"Let me remind you of Trump’s words: 'If Putin doesn’t sit at the negotiation table, I’ll provide Ukraine with so much weaponry that Ukrainians will force Putin to sit down for negotiations,'" emphasized Sniehyriov.
- U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will participate online in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the Ramstein format on April 11.
