Lithuanian Prime Minister Šimonytė announces purchase of 3 thousand FPV drones for Ukraine

On April 5, during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonyte announced the purchase of 3,000 FPV drones for Ukraine.

She made the announcement at a press conference.

"We have also agreed with the Minister of National Defense that Lithuania will soon purchase about 3 thousand Lithuanian FPV drones for about 2 million euros through the Ministry of Defense, which I hope will arrive at the front this year," Šimonyte said.

She emphasized that Lithuania has called on and will continue to call on all Western allies to immediately provide Ukraine with all the weapons it needs to defeat the Russian enemy on the battlefield as soon as possible.

Šimonyte also mentioned that Lithuania has provided over €1 billion in aid to Ukraine so far.
