Ukraine's top diplomat discusses strengthening of air defense with Italian counterpart

The ministers discussed practical steps on how Italy can help strengthen Ukraine's air defense.

The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude for Italy's participation in Ukraine's recovery and looks forward to new projects in this direction.

The interlocutors also discussed preparations for the first Global Peace Summit and the implementation of the Peace Formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

• The situation with the defense of Ukrainian skies is extremely complicated, as both air defense stations and missiles for them are in short supply, said Ilia Yevlash, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force.
