Estonia offers €3 million for Starlink for Ukraine
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met with his Estonian counterpart Hanno Pevkur, who informed him about Estonia’s proposal to allocate €3 million for the purchase and maintenance of Starlink satellite communication systems for Ukraine

Shmyhal announced this on X.
During the meeting, the two ministers also discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, developing drone production, and creating joint defense enterprises.
"We value Estonia’s participation in PURL. Ukraine is also ready to contribute to projects under the SAFE framework, which will promote the mutual development of our defense industries. We also discussed the training of Ukrainian warriors within the Operation Legio.," the Ukrainian minister said.
He expressed gratitude to Estonia for its proposal to allocate €3 million for the purchase and support of Starlink systems.
“Thank you, Estonia, for your steadfast support of Ukrainians in this war,” Shmyhal concluded.
