According to him, the military aid package for Ukraine includes artillery shells, anti-tank guns, explosives, gas masks, sniper equipment, and smaller caliber ammunition.
"We put this package together focussing on providing the maximum benefit to Ukraine while making sure to not diminish Estonian defence readiness," said Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.
At the same time, the aid package contains 155 mm shells, which is Estonia's additional contribution to the European Union's initiative to send one million shells to Ukraine.
On March 8, it was reported that Estonia intends to sign a security agreement with Ukraine and next week will approve another package of military aid.
