Canada to send Ukraine Coyote, Bison armored vehicles worth over $23 million
Canada will transfer two types of military armored vehicles to Ukraine, with a total value of 30 million Canadian dollars (about 23 million U.S. dollars)
The Canadian Defense Ministry announced this, Ukrinform reports.
"Canada is providing Ukraine with over $35 million in military aid, including $30 million for Coyote and Bison armored vehicles, along with new equipment and ammunition produced by Canadian companies," the Canadian department said.
It is noted that another 5 million Canadian dollars (approximately 4 million U.S. dollars) will be allocated for anti-jamming kits and electronic warfare equipment.
The Defense Ministry also recalled that in December last year, Canada had already transferred 64 Coyote armored vehicles to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the total amount of Canadian aid to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion has already exceeded 15 billion U.S. dollars, of which about 3.5 billion U.S. dollars is military aid.
Also, recently, the Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine, Natalka Tsmoć, assured that the naval forces of her country are ready to help with the demining of the Black Sea.
