AFU shoot down Russian drone near Mykolaiv port
In the morning of January 9, Ukraine’s air defense has shot down a Russian drone near the Ochakiv port, Mykolaiv region.

The South Air Command of Ukraine reported the information on Facebook.
"In the Mykolaiv region, the enemy continues to conduct aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles, and the units of the South Air Command destroy them," the command writes.
At about 09:00 a.m., on the approach from the sea to the port of Ochakiv, Ukrainian air defense forces eliminated a Russian strike-reconnaissance drone of the operational-tactical level.
Ukrainian soldiers shot down a similar UAV on January 7.
- On January 8, a metal-rolling plant was burning in occupied Donetsk, where the Russian military deployed repair and maintenance points for its damaged equipment.
