AFU shoot down 2 Russian drones, launch 6 airstrikes on enemy military positions – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

Moreover, missile and artillery units destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system and 2 enemy electronic warfare stations during the day.

In Holubivka, Luhansk region, the occupying forces converted a local school into a medical center

“The enemy continues to use the civilian infrastructure of the temporarily occupied settlements for its own purposes. In particular, in Holubivka, Luhansk region, Russian troops use one of the schools as a medical center to provide health care to their troops,” the report says. 

During the day, Russia launched 6 missile attacks and 47 airstrikes against Ukraine

In addition, the enemy fired 25 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Occupying Russian forces are attacking at the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, while the Ukrainian defenders repelled over 30 enemy. The fiercest fighting continues for Bakhmut and Marinka.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation keeps daily shelling of the entire border line: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, four more in the Sumy region, as well as seven villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Shelling of Ukrainian regions

• In the Kupiansk direction, 8 settlements in the Kharkiv region, as well as one more in the Luhansk region came under artillery shelling. 
• In the Lyman direction, 8 settlements were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 
• In the Bakhmut direction, heavy fighting for the fortress city continues. 9 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy attacks. 
• In the Avdiivka direction, occupying Russian troops attacked 7 localities in the Donetsk region. 
• In the Marinka direction, 6 localities in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire. 
• In the Shakhtarsk direction, 4 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked. 
• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, 7 towns and villages were subjected to numerous Russian attacks. 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is confident in the country's ability to repel Russia's invasion and says Ukraine’s Armed Forces are preparing for a counteroffensive.
