The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on March 3.

In particular, it is reported that the Defense Forces' aviation launched 5 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions during the day. In addition, the Ukrainian military shot down an enemy Su-34 aircraft and a ZALA UAV.

Russia launched 30 airstrikes, 6 missile strikes, and over 20 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems

“During the day, the enemy launched 30 airstrikes, 6 missile strikes, and more than 20 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, at civilian infrastructure,” the report says.

The enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensives in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire border line: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 7 more in the Sumy region, as well as 10 villages and towns in the Kharkiv region were attacked.

Russian shelling of other Ukrainian regions:

  • In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, 9 settlements near the contact line were shelled by artillery.

  • In the Bakhmut direction, 12 localities of the Donetsk region close to the combat zone came under enemy fire.

  • In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy launched artillery and mortar attacks at almost 20 settlements of the Donetsk region.

  • In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy shelled 15 towns and villages, including Kherson itself, with artillery. There are killed and wounded among the civilians.

In Luhansk region, the Russian forces deprived people of the opportunity to receive pensions and other social benefits by disabling ATMs

The report says that in the Luhansk region, the so-called occupation 'authorities' continue to exert pressure on the local population, including the most vulnerable.

In particular, in the settlements of the Svatove district, the invading Russian forces deprived people of the opportunity to receive pensions and other social benefits by disabling ATMs.

“Pensioners and other categories of the population in need of social protection are offered to receive cash payments on certain days. However, due to this organization, people are mostly physically unable to receive money,” the report says.
