AFU destroy 4 Russian artillery units, 2 military positions – General Staff
On May 24, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 2 Russian attack UAVs of the Shahed type and 1 reconnaissance UAV of the Orlan-10 type

Russia launched 17 airstrikes, about 20 MLRS attacks
Invading Russian forces continue to attack in the Lyman, Kupiansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. In total, 23 combat engagements took place in the above-mentioned sectors over the last day.
Ukrainian aviation launched 7 strikes on Russian manpower concentration areas
Missile and artillery units destroyed 2 manpower concentration areas, 4 munitions depots, an electronic warfare station, 4 artillery units at firing positions, as well as 4 other important enemy targets.
Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected.
At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 3 more in the Sumy region, as well as 9 towns and villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked.

In the Kupiansk direction, 10 settlements in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions came under artillery shelling.

In the Lyman direction, 4 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk directions came under Russian fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, fighting continues for the fortress city. 13 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces.

In the Avdiivka direction, 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled.

In the Marinka direction, 5 towns came under Russian shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, 4 settlements were attacked by the Russian forces.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, 13 towns and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the invading Russian forces.
On May 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 4 enemy Shahed drones and launched 14 airstrikes on the Russian manpower concentration areas, 3 of which targeted enemy air defense systems.
