Zelenskyy’s advisor condemns IOC for promoting Russia’s anti-human policy
Advisor to the Head of Ukraine’s Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak has accused the IOC of promoting Russia's hateful policy by allowing Russians to compete at the 2024 Olympics
Podolyak made the statement on Twitter.
Thus, he reacted to the initiative of the International Olympic Committee to allow Russians and Belarusians to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris under a neutral flag.
"IOC proposes to the world promotion of violence, mass murders, destruction. That's why it insists Russian athletes should participate in contests as real "ambassadors of death"… Sport doesn't exist outside politics – sport promotes it. Thus, the IOC promotes the Russian anti-human policy," Podolyak stated.

On January 27, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the neutral flag of Russian athletes was stained with blood and invited IOC President Thomas Bach to Bakhmut.

Thomas Bach said that he supported the participation of Russians and Belarusians in the 2024 Olympics, despite Ukraine's threats to boycott the Games.
