Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a joint briefing with the Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis in Kyiv.
“Unfortunately, Russia continues to launch missile attacks on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, fighting against the civilian population and depriving them of light, water, heat, as well as communication during the winter. On November 15 alone, Russia fired about 100 missiles at Ukrainian cities. Almost half of our energy system is disabled,” Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister emphasizes that Ukraine currently needs additional financial assistance from partners: for the purchase of new equipment, additional volumes of gas, and general support for the energy sector.
